Like most supporters out there, Matt Clark would love Leo Messi to play for his team.
The difference is that this Arsenal fan has actually devised a scheme to make it happen, launching a crowdfunding campaign whereby he and 599,999 of his fellow Gunners would chip in one euro a week in order to pay the wages the Barça star would demand to move to the Emirates Stadium... leaving just the small matter of a transfer fee to take care of.
The creative, tongue-in-cheek idea came in response to a story in the Daily Star suggesting Messi might be willing to leave Barcelona and mooting Arsenal as a possible destination.
